IPL 2021 : Washington Sundar ruled out of UAE leg of IPL 2021 due to finger injury

Indian all-rounder washington sundar has been ruled out of the UAE leg of the 2021 Indian Premier League due to a finger injury. 

The 21-year-old, who was also one of the three players to fly back to India from England, along with Shubman Gill and Avesh Khan, played in six matches in the first half of IPL. He took three wickets. Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday announced that their all-rounder Washington Sundar will not be part of the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL), starting September 19 due to a finger injury.

Washington Sundar suffered a fracture on his finger during a first-class practice match during India's ongoing tour of England in July. He was hit on the finger when he was playing for County Select XI against India in the warm-up game. A bouncer from Mohammed Siraj ended his stay in England after he was picked as one of the specialist all-rounders in the India squad for the 5-Test series in England.
